When you sign in to Selfcare for the first time, the onboarding wizard asks for the details and documents your company needs: NIF (Portuguese tax number), IBAN, address, emergency contact and anything else your company has made required.
The two parts of onboarding
- Your part: everything the wizard asks you for. It is done when you click Finish onboarding on the last step.
- HR's part: some details and documents may be collected by HR (for example, the signed contract). They don't hold you up: you can use Selfcare while HR takes care of them.
Your onboarding is only complete when both parts are done.
The onboarding complete email
When the last required item is done, on your side or on HR's, you receive an email saying your onboarding is finished and that you are now fully registered on Selfcare, with a button to open Selfcare.
The email goes to the same address as your invitation (usually your personal email), in the language you picked in Settings, Preferences. It only carries your first name and the company name, never the details you provided.
If you didn't get the email
- HR may still have items to do. Ask them whether anything is missing on their side.
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- The email can't be resent by hand, but you don't need it for anything: your registration is complete all the same.
